I am a warm experienced counselling with more than 30 years of working in both social care and therapeutic settings. My professional practice has involved people from a wide variety of backgrounds, varying ages and differing needs.
I have extensive experience working with personnel and their families on a range of difficulties. My areas of expertise include: domestic abuse, relationship breakdown, depression, childhood sexual abuse, anxiety, self-harm, sexuality, gender identity, low self-esteem, physical illness, parenting challenges including children with additional needs and loss and grief.
I use an integrative approach which means I draw on a range of skills and theories to adapt counselling to your individual needs. These include Person Centred, CBT, NLP, Transactional analysis and psychodynamic approaches.
